What is a "Low Maintenance Deck"?
Decks built using composite or PVC decking materials are considered “low-maintenance” decks as they require significantly less maintenance than wood decks.
What does your guarantee cover?
Wood Bully Ltd provides a 2-year warranty on all workmanship in addition to the warranties most of our low-maintenance decking manufacturers offer. In most cases 25 years. We also offer a complete satisfaction guarantee, which means that you don’t submit your final payment until you are completely satisfied.
Does my deck require a permit?
Most deck projects that exceed 24” in height require a permit, and we always recommend getting a permit when required to protect your investment.
Do I need a landscape design?
A design is invaluable for several reasons; A design professional landscape design is a great addition to protecting your investment. It will provide you with a detailed idea of the finished product with a blueprint for the builder to follow. Material counts can be made from the scaled design for a more accurate estimate. A design will also allow the project to be broken down into stages or phases. However, the main benefit is that it is an opportunity for our professionals to design the project with the assistance of the homeowners, and it is this cooperation that ensures a superior result.
What is OBC?
Ontario Building Code is a regulation under the Building Code Act. It establishes detailed technical and administrative requirements and minimum standards for building construction.
What's involved in the estimate process?
There are usually two ways that an estimate can be done for landscaping; either the customer already has a design (i.e. done by a design firm) and we provide the cost for work, or we can provide a quote for both the design and work to be done.
